I’m a Kent-based creative producer, project director, dramaturg, access coordinator & consultant, facilitator and academic working across dance, theatre, music and visual arts.
I’ve always worked across disciplines - I draw strength from different forms of artistry to play with ideas and communicate concepts to audiences.
I have particular experience in outdoor arts, participatory performance and accessible practice, always with a focus on socially engaged, collaborative work that brings people together through shared cultural experience and identity.
I’ve developed theatre performances, films, led community projects, and delivered tours and festivals to audiences across the South East and nationally, including Fish Out of Water with MCDC, Feel the Beat with Jodie and Co., and Elevate slow conference with the Disability Arts Network Kent & Medway.

Background
I feel really lucky that I’ve been in the arts since I was a kid, beginning my career as a performer, before moving into teaching, research and producing.
I trained at Bird College before gaining a BA Hons (First Class) in Creative Arts from Canterbury Christ Church University, where I went on to earn a PhD in Performing Arts, and then teach.

I moved into producing, working with existing collaborators and then for Moving Memory Dance Theatre Company thanks to Creative Estuary's Emerging Producer placement scheme. I also began working with MCDC, with whom I've collaborated since 2020.
I also developed skills as an access coordinator, working one-to-one and supporting companies through adapting existing practice, providing audio description, and informing access literacy through consultancy and publication.

I now work freelance with ongoing collaborators and new connections, bringing my skills together to create performances, events and support artists and companies to grow their artistic ambitions.

Training

I’m passionate about professional growth and lifelong learning, experiencing new perspectives and gaining new skills. I’ve had creative development with Stopgap, Graeae, Makin’ Projects, Told by an Idiot, Max Stafford Clark and The Royal Opera House to name a few.
As a freelancer, I’m always looking for CPD that supports my practice, and have training and qualifications including First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Risk Assessment for Participatory Arts, Integrated Audio Description and University Certificate in Academic Practice (AFHEA).
