"Good planning is as much about flexibility as preparation - the people in the room and what they bring should be the missing piece in your plan."

Facilitation

My teaching and facilitation experience ranges from children to adults, across settings including school and community projects, organisational workshops and company development periods.

I’ve taught musical theatre, ISTD jazz, RAD ballet and acting to vocational level, lectured on foundation and degree programmes, and delivered seminars and workshops for national arts organisations, research centres and sector bodies.

I also have experience chairing research panels, facilitating discussion groups, and presenting at larger-scale events.

Teaching and lecturing

I was a sessional lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University and Rose Bruford College, and hold Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Authority. I’ve led and taught modules from foundation to BA level programmes in Performing Arts, Dance Education and Acting, across digital, shared-space and hybrid platforms in core critical & contextual subjects, including:

  • Perspectives on Performance

  • Interdisciplinary Devising

  • Theatres of the World

  • Performance Techniques

  • Ballet

  • Jazz

  • Musical Theatre

Mentoring

I support artists at different stages of their careers, from pre-vocational students to recent graduates and established professionals looking for development mentoring.

With experience of the vocational audition circuit from both sides of the table, I have also offered private coaching and audition preparation for students preparing for the performance industry, securing places at The Brit School, Rose Bruford College, Bird College and New York Film Academy.

I can mentor degree work placements, support recent graduates as they move into professional practice or help artists focus on specific goals for career growth.

I love helping a company gain momentum! Get in touch and let’s talk about what I can do for you.

“Mo was so intuitive when facilitating the room. She created enough space for people to express their feelings but guided the group to be reflective when needed. All done with sensitivity, empathy and care.”
